Teen Bible Group

Like the end of Tottenham's season, Easter was surprisingly early this year - which is a good excuse for not getting this article to the editor in time for April's Insight (apologies)...

Last term we looked at what we called 'real life issues'. Of course, we try to apply everything that we read in the Bible to 'real life' but we thought it would be good to focus particularly on some of the issues that the group face every day. So we looked at what the Bible has to say about things like friends, family, peer pressure, school and exams.

This term we will be following a similar approach but zooming-out to look at the bigger picture. So we'll be looking at some bigger themes and issues and what affect they have on us - for instance, what it means to 'be holy' and how this might actually look in our everyday life.

In a bold new move we'll be spending two weeks on each topic this term - whether that is because they are very serious issues that need more time to explore, or because we couldn't think of enough topics to cover the whole term, we'll leave it to you to decide...

This term coincides with exam season for some members of the group so please be praying for them as they face this.
